National Strategy on Sea Defences, Flooding and Coastal Erosion

July 26, 2016

Well done to our JBA (UK) team on their work on the Isle of Man National Strategy on Sea Defences, Flooding and Coastal Erosion.  Tynwald, the Isle of Man Parliament, approved the strategy which has been based on JBA's analysis and evidence base. It is the first of its kind for the Island that assesses combined risk from river, coastal and surface water flooding together with coastal erosion.  It identifies a list of those areas most at risk, now and in the future as a result of climate change, and suggests appropriate adaptation responses.
